Usually they have equipment available but I am bringing a shovel and a rake marked with name. Trip to Gifford, IL in June

His Working Volunteers is a group of volunteers from McHenry County who have worked at two tornado sites in the past three years, twice in Joplin, MO; once in Moore, OK, and many times in Marseilles, IL, to help rebuild homes damaged by a flood in April 2013.   We are planning a trip to Gifford, IL which was devastated by a tornado on Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013; this is part of the same storm system that hit Washington near Peoria, IL.  Gifford is located 15 miles northeast of Champaign, approximately 180 miles south of Crystal Lake.

Our plan is to leave on Sunday, June 8th at 1:00 PM and return about 6:00 PM Saturday, June 14th.  We need skilled and unskilled volunteers, everyone is welcomed and needed.

YOU CAN AND WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
